By the way, the wildly-inaccurate USASpending.gov website was (then-) Senator O'bama's landmark achievements. Too bad it's wholly disfunctional, as it might shed some daylight on what's going on behind the scenes (assumedly the original intent of the site).

What happened to that nice young man with all the smiling, and uniting and palaver about "rule of law & transparency". Is he still around?

WASHINGTON — A government website intended to make federal spending more transparent was missing at least $619 billion from 302 federal programs, a government audit has found.

And the data that does exist is wildly inaccurate, according to the Government Accountability Office, which looked at 2012 spending data. Only 2% to 7% of spending data onUSASpending.gov is "fully consistent with agencies' records," according to the report.

Among the data missing from the 6-year-old federal website:

• The Department of Health and Human Services failed to report nearly $544 billion, mostly in direct assistance programs like Medicare. The department admitted that it should have reported aggregate numbers of spending on those programs.

• The Department of the Interior did not report spending for 163 of its 265 assistance programs because, the department said, its accounting systems were not compatible with the data formats required by USASpending.gov. The result: $5.3 billion in spending missing from the website.

• The White House itself failed to report any of the programs it's directly responsible for. At the Office of National Drug Control Policy, which is part of the White House, officials said they thought HHS was responsible for reporting their spending.

There are 40,000 missing “UNACCOMPANIED” children. Only missing from official record keeping because they never existed in the first place. They were ACCOMPANIED by their parents, aunts, uncles, and families….$$$ has to come from somewhere... To keep this scam going. Take a few billion here from this account.. A few billion from that one....Funnel it to the immigration scam ...Now all of the sudden more hard drives are crashing... Liberals get near a hard drive I mean just stand by one and it seems to crash,,,Strange. More undocumented democrats showing up every day. ... And the show goes on.

If more citizens were armed, criminals would think twice about attacking them, Detroit Police Chief James Craig

Florida currently has more concealed-carry permit holders than any other state, with 1,269,021 issued as of May 14, 2014

The liberal elite ... know that the people simply cannot be trusted; that they are incapable of just and fair self-government; that left to their own devices, their society will be racist, sexist, homophobic, and inequitable -- and the liberal elite know how to fix things. They are going to help us live the good and just life, even if they have to lie to us and force us to do it. And they detest those who stand in their way."

I believe the idiom is "Peeing down your leg and telling you it's raining".

(hey! VJ overlords let me write "peeing"!)

I think that is the Republican trickle down theory of economics.

Big thanks to our resident IRS bigwig (or so he says). Say, shouldn't you be deleting important emails right about now? <_<

In my job as a Revenue Agent I delete emails everyday. I delete the emails that are irrelevant to me or the cases I am working on. Those I deem relevant after put into personal folders which I back up monthly.

I am sure you are a great revenue agent, but you have a poor understanding of Network based computing, and how the information store on an Exchange server operates . Regardless of the fact that you back "archive" your mail, to your hard drive, to keep from hitting your limit, there is a whole lot of other things going on behind the scenes that you never see.

Hence the , Her HD crashed being totally BS

At my level if my hard drive crashes and I lose my emails I am out of luck because the IRS is not going to spend the resources to try and retrieve my emails. They will just tell me that I should have backed up my data more regularly.

I have some understanding of network based computing and I also understand how the IRS does it.

Apparently the IRS doesn't "do it". Otherwise all those damning emails would have been produced, albeit more than a year after they were subpoenaed. Right? Or would they not have been produced regardless...

The IRS has historically lagged behind the private sector when it comes to technology and how it is implemented.

Spending too much time and resources targeting those who they consider 'enemies', eh?

It doesn't matter whether or not the IRS has the capability to retrieve all emails.

Is this your version of "What difference at this point does it make?"

Seriously? Come on! Are you really trying to convince us that just because you work for the IRS you understand its systems better than a complete stranger in cyberspace?:rofl::rofl:
