You don't shot someone 10 times in self defense. The cops murdered this young man. I just regret it is being made about race. I pray Obama will keep his mouth shut this time, until justice has run it's course.

Using a Pistol at 35ft and judging from what I have been told about Police accuracy, 10 might produce 2 or 3 hits.

This is where we diverge. We have got to get to the point in this country, where it is a unjustfied police shooting period. White people need to be upset about this and black people need to show the same outrage at the homeless man shot in the back.

Making this about race accomplishes nothing.

no one "makes" anything about race. personally, i think most people are outraged when a cop kills anyone white or black. it's when the media steps in and starts reporting the victim as a thug - as if to excuse the loss of life.

Not me. Most of the time the person killed deserves to be killed.

I think this case is different and I will wait for all the evidence....although at this point it appears the cop overreacted and should go to prison. However....we will see.

i don't think there are too many laws on the books of any state that warrant death by cop, without due process. we are in america, right?
