Packet is moved to another office for processing?

I just got a notice saying that my packet was moved to another office for processing and that I'll be notified when a decision is made...if anyone knows about how long after this notice does it take for them to come up with a decision? And is this a sign that things are finally starting to move along? Thank you!

We are not sure where you are being transferred to yet. This wave has just started so the updates letting us know where will be a few days from now. If you don't mind, please post your details in the thread below so we can keep track of them all. So far, you are number 19 that has mentioned being transferred.

Mine was transferred recently and it was a very quick turnaround. Texas to California. NOA1 received June 11. Transfer to Cali June 12. NOA2 on June 30.

We didn't receive anything when NVC sent our package to the consulate. The consulate simply sent a us a package of directions. I had to call NVC for my case number. They can also track your packet and let you know where it is.

You weren't transferred. Yours was routed to CSC where it was supposed to be. All petitions are mailed to the Texas lock box and then routed to the appropriate center based on your geographical location. Yours was a normal routing to CSC. Can you please correct your timeline to indicate CSC and Transferred = NO. It affects the TSC timeline estimates in a negative way.

You did not have a transfer in your case. All peitions are mailed to the Dallas Lockbox intake facility, which is not a service center. The Dallas Lockbox is in Texas, but it is not the Texas Service Center. From the Dallas Lockbox, all petitions are sorted and mailed out to one of the two service centers for processing. Yours was sent to the CSC. The CSC has been processing the I-129F petitions quickly, and the TSC has been backlogged and slow. Now those stuck at the TSC are beginning to be transferred to another service center.

Those that are transferred receive actual transfer notices. First informed online, and then will receive a letter in the mail telling them their petition was transferred to another service center and which service center is now processing their petition. If you did not have your petition transferred from one service center to another and receive a notice stating that, then you were not transferred.
