I did not include an intent to marry. Did you? Maybe thats the reason why I got a RFE. *scratches head*

It clearly asked for one. It is a big possibility for the RFE. If so, that is easy enough. Just write one and have your fiancé write one as well. I wrote one in English and my fiancé wrote his in Spanish, therefore I had to translate it to English.

Wish you luck! :goofy:

I would just write the identical letter for both you and him in English, just change the names, then send it to him, ask him to sign it and send it back to you. A sample of the intent to marry can be found on this site. That's what I used, no problems at all.

Husband? You're filing a K1 so I really hope you aren't married yet. And if you aren't, you might want to make it a habit of not calling each other by married nick names. They can deny you if they suspect you're already married. Just a word of advice.

I was visiting him when we did our letters, therefor I was able to send original. He wrote in his own words what his intention was and I just translated. He signed both. yes. We were approved Sept. 15th.

Best of luck!

I have received at RFE at 13:30 CST.

I am completely clueless as to what could be missing since we are using a reputable immigration attorney and I went over everything in her office before it was mailed out. We sent more than what was required (front loaded it), birth certificate and all pages of passports (both). I spent money and paid for professional translations and notarization for them in the US. We had everything 110% correct.

I cannot wait to receive the hard copy so I can find out what bull$%@# USCIS is trying to pull on us.
