You either won the "worst adjucator ever" lottery! That or the "worst transfer ever" sweepstakes. At least you can easily give them all that since you did it the first time around. Best of luck to you!

I only included my passport do I need my original birth certificate. I got a rfe but I dont know why yet. Could it have been because I only sent my passport.

Did you include every page of your passport or just the page with your photo and bio? If you included a photocopy of every page, then you're OK. If just the one page, that's probably the cause of your rfe.

I didn't provide my birth certificate and was approved.

I sent a copy of the Picture and Bio then I copied the pages of the dates I traveled. I am also divorced. I sent a copy of the divorce. Not the original. Can that be it. Thanks for replying

Hmm, since you didn't copy every page of your passport, (yes, even empty pages), that might be the cause of the rfe. The i-129f instructions state you need to submit your birth certificate or a copy of every page of your passport.

so, I'm racking my brain wondering if there is anything that I could get a RFE for. The only thing I can think of is I sent a copy front and back of my birth certificate (long version) as in the packet it said that a copy could be made. I checked that I signed and dated everything and that he did as well. We did our letter of intents and stated specifically within 90 days. I can't remember if we said the location or not. I am wondering why is it taking so long for us to get an answer about our petition.... any ideas? We have not heard anything since the transfer

I sent a copy front & back of my birth certificate. It was a nice color copy. Also , our letters of intent just stated 90 days & they were worded identically. I thought I'd get an rfe because I couldn't remember if I wrote his name on the back of the photo. I feared his passport sized photo was too close to his face. He dated the top of the letter of intent, but not next to his signature. I had a receipt of my own from an hour before his receipt of the engagement ring (both from Liverpool) that I neglected to include. I thought for sure id get an rfe for one of those. But I was ok. I think you will be too:) I hope it's this week for you! Best of luck!
