FYI, I am also still waiting on the NOA2 (NOA1 April 15), transferred to CA in early/mid August.

Question - is there anyone who was transferred, then received an RFE, and haas been approved subsequent to completing the RFE? I forgot to check a damn box (thought the question applied only to Military as it was asking about a court martial). I got the RFE in the mail last Friday, checked the box, and expressed it back to CA to arrive on Monday.

I was really hoping that they would process the app with the RFE completed quickly. Every night this week at 11pm people get their NOA2s, some of them from late April and May.

ALSO FYI to everyone. I spoke with a tier 1 and a tier 2 service rep today. my case is outside the 5 month processing time for the CA office, but not outside the Texas processing time (they still have February something as the date). Because the case was transferred, they said the system would not allow them to put in a request for action or whatever it's called due to being outside the 5 month timeline, since the system registered Texas as the service center and not CA. they said I could call back in 60 DAYS(!!) if the app is not approved by November something. Just to verify that the damn box has been correctly checked.

I actually think the transfer was not really worth it since we are still waiting and as you said, for them to do anything regardless if you are out of your normal processing time you have to wait according to Texas standards not California although we have been transferred. I think the transfers are a joke really. Texas April filers will get approved faster if not the same time as the April transfers lol.

We got a RFE today as well, suspect those I-129F "no criminal records" not checked, but have to wait for a letter.

No action on ours but I wouldn't doubt we get a RFE. I had to send in scanned copies of documents because it takes too long to get here from Russia. Like a month + to arrive. So I had him sign everything in blue & scan it to me. Then mail it. I have the originals now but I did send in copies originally. It's worked for some people, hasn't for others. Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised to get a RFE. I just want some action. It's strange so many that are left have gotten RFEs at once now.

I hope you'll get the approval guys, it is tough to get a RFE after so long a waiting and know for sure you'll have to wait more (it can take 2 months after they have the response actually, plus time to get a letter from them and send yours). Fingers crossed for you!

I don't think so... the e-mail says the case being suspended until they have the response, so they are not doing anything with those and just moving to others.

if you got an RFE that's good. that's mean someone working on your case. will take more time like 15 days but still good sign. we got an RFE too on august 22, and we gave them back what they need On September 4, then we got approved on September 17, after 13 days. about RFE don't worry will be small things for sure like ours my fiancee just forgot to answer for one question. its normal, there are nothing to worry about. i hope that will help. good luck guys.
