Ridiculous... Hopefully the officers we spoke with were just having a bad day and annoyed rather than telling the truth! My thing is , they aren't officers actually sitting in the California office correct? She had to look online through the database and told me case is still pending. Therefore, she would not even know what truly is going on at csc correct?

I guess or else she wouldn't have told me she doesn't have that kind of information I hope both of us and all waiting for Noa2 today surprise tonight ?

So, I just got off the phone with an officer and she said that California is currently processing February applications... Where sis she get that info from??!! She said although we are at five months we are still normal processing time and we don't hear anything within 72 days to call back! LOL! Smh!

Did you speak with a Tier 2? Sounds like that's a canned Tier 1 response to me. I've been holding off calling. I don't know why. I guess I just don't want to hear bad news.

I just want to cry. There can't be that many of us left. Anyone have an idea of who's still waiting? I just don't get why. Our case hasn't been touched since the fake transfer notice.

Still waiting and my NOA1 was April 3rd. Happy for everyone who has gotten their approvals but I would be lying if I said I wasn't pissed at USCIS for this whole experience. It is what is is though and I'm just going to let it go. True love is worth this long and unfair wait.

A journey of 2855KM begins with a single step.

Since some applicants have been posting that they received their NOA2 after they called USCIS, I decided to call. I’m only a week short of the 5 month mark. The Tier 1 caller told me my application was in Mesquite Texas even though I got a hard copy notice telling me I was transferred to California (8/11). I asked to talk to a Tier 2 officer. Contrary to what other are posting, the T2 officer re-affirmed that my application was in Texas. I asked if it was transferred back to Texas from California. She put me on-hold and said she was going to “look more into it”. She came back and told me that it was definitively in Texas and they had no record of it ever being transferred to California. NOW I AM COMPLETELY CONFUSED. :ranting:

Conclusion – I don’t think either T1 or T2 officers have any clue what is going on. We just have to sit tight and wait.

No news is bad news. Everything else is good. From what I've read in this thread, when you call, they tell you to call back anywhere from 45-180 days & then people post that they got NOA2 within the next few days. I cannot even count the # of times I've read that in this thread, & yes, I've read every single post. I think calling is only good, especially if you can express to them in a non-nagging way, but just sad sounding about how hard this is making your life & your heart hearts & all that stuff.

Edit: PS: Congrats to everyone recently approved! Good luck to anyone still waiting. I know it's coming soon.

Congratulations to all those approved last night and those that will be approved tonight.

And in regards to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 officers, I'm not really sure how much they know or how much of our information they have access to, but I do think calling will help. When I called I spoke only with the first person that answered, so I'm assuming Tier 1. The very next day I received the approval, and my NOA1 is May 27th. The applications around mine were still under Initial Review.

I can't say for certain that calling will guarantee a quick approval/update, but it doesn't hurt. My thought is maybe the officers are able to place a query/note on the case after the petitioner calls that someone in California can see.

Hi Espico,

I think you should ignore what they tell you on the phone because I really don't think they know details at all. If you got the hard copy notice that you are transferred, then you are definitely transferred! When I called and spoke to Tier 2 he said he couldn't see any details about my case. In fact, when they transferred me to him they gave him my wrong case number at first also, so they are simply out of the loop. The officer I spoke to also expressed his own frustration with the adjudicators but made it seem like he has no contact or connection to them.

You could always try and call again and speak to someone else to see what they say, or get a senator involved to find out what's going on exactly. But in my opinion I think a hard copy notice signifies you were definitely transferred.
