Hello all,

I know there are some people still waiting for their approvals and I hope you get yours soon but my question is to the ones who got approved on and around August 28th. I still haven't heard anything from NVC yet. It seems almost impossibleto get to them through phone. Any suggestions?

Thanks and many blessings!

From what I've read, they're open until midnight on week days. Call after 9pm & you should get through. Did you already get a notification that it shipped?

I am the petitioner.

No I haven't received a notification about it being shipped yet.

I think it can take something like 2 weeks after noa2 before they even ship it. Usually (this is all based on what I've read) you can call & get your case # within 10 days of it being shipped. It's been over 10 since your noa2, right? There's always a possibility it was shipped & you haven't received a notice yet. Call the nvc after 9pm tonight to see. But I'd first check your case status on the uscis site. I know, waiting sucks. But you're ahead of me, anyway!

I am the petitioner.

Ok, I know I'm planning ahead a bit, but my noa2 is around the corner. Anyway, with my affidavit of support-I have a question. I'm a manager in a grocery store & I'm supposedly getting transferred to a new one (in the same chain) sometime in October. If we get the noa2, I want to send him all my info right away so he has it...do you think it matters if I have the address I'm currently at on the form? Or do I have to wait until my transfer to send it to him? It's the same company, just a different location-& I have no idea when I'm getting transferred.

I am the petitioner.

Ahha! I check the USCIS status few times everyday since I received my NOA2 ?? and finally this morningI got through NVC and they did say it's too soon. So I guess I'll just wait.

Btw I see your next post, so since I've received my NOA2 I should gather my Affidavit of Support info and send it to him?

Hey everyone, first time poster with a question - sorry don't have any info in my signature for timeline purposes. K-1 fiance visa, home country is France.

We filed the NOA1 back in April (April 11 I believe) and were transferred to CSC back in August. Coming up on 5 months now and hadn't heard anything despite many other transfers getting the NOA2 relatively quickly. I called the USCIS number today and eventually spoke to a 2nd tier rep. He wasn't very helpful.

First, as to why I got the text message alert when filing the NOA1 but did not get an alert for the transfer, he could not provide any information on e-notifications.

Second, he casually mentioned that the CSC had made a request for more information in August, but that it was never "ordered"... so possibly they want more information but never actually hit the "send" button so to speak. Or, potentially they don't need more info and that order was an error. I should find out "in a few weeks."

Has this ever happened to anyone else? I would hate to have this delayed for another month or two, we tried to be very careful in the application to include everything that could be needed and tried to be over-inclusive when possible. He also said that there was no way to contact the CSC directly to find out what they might have requested. Is this true? I thought I've read of people being able to contact the service centers directly once 5 months has passed.

Our noa1 is April 17 transferred August 11 and still no word....if I don't heard anything this week in too will call. Best time to call is 15-30 minutes prior to their close time as thy have to follow up with calls and though they sound tired and irritable you can get more stuff out of them rather during the day time when they are in a hurry to get you off the phone.

I don't think you should be worried about not having received your NOA2 yet. Our NoA1 is 23rd April and we are still waiting too. Just like many other April and May fillers who got transferred.

We didn't received the e-notification either for the transfer. I guess somebody forgot to do it.

Did you receive a hard copy for the transfer? Just curious since I got an e-notification but never received the hard copy.

I would suggest calling them back right after passing the 5-month mark and see if you get a different story.

And there are plenty of us who were transferred who are still waiting as well. :)
