I think this is the post that was referred to.... hot topic for the last day or so...

USCIS has advised several members that their files have been transferred. So far these seem to be April and May petitioners. This indicates that they are trying to clear the backlog owing to major delays at TSC. As far as I am aware they haven't advised where the transfers have been sent, but it is interpreted that they maybe sending them to CSC to clear the backlog. This would mean that all TSC filers from months following the May files will also be bumped forward and hopefully catch up to CSC.. or closer anyway.. You can look out for the threads talking about it.

Its great news for TSC filers !!!... finally ...

Ohh thank you!!

Do you think they would do the June filers too? Or would they stick with May as the ending date for the transfers?

Feb.23,2018: Mailed I-751 to CSC

Mar. 21, 2018: Received NOA

April.6,2018: Received extension letter

April.24,2018: Waived Biometrics

There used to be a search function on this site for filtering by transferred/not transferred, but I can't find it now for the life of me.

Well, please don't forget about us January, February and March filers. We have been waiting a little longer :)

It does mean you will have a shorter wait but they will get to you when done with us. Unless they forget about us :(

No... I was thinking they would be starting to work on yours now anyway.. . there has to have been some sort of action and plan (we hope) behind this recent move. It seems as if the disparity between the two centers has been brought to someone's attention ... lets hope it works out for us all and soon... I just want to get on with life as it is meant to be, not eight thousands miles apart.

Okay so think with me.

Surely then are not gonna send all the cases in that time period (April to May) to other centers. I would assume it would be just enough to let them get back on track.

Would that mean that for the June filers. We could get an faster approval then 5 months maybe??

who knows ?.. we dont really know what percentage have been transferred, but its going to lighten the load at TSC.. no one seems to have been told where they've been transferred to... I dont know if Vermont is an option... people are only mentioning CSC. Whatever it is.. it will make things quicker at TSC. There are still Jan/Feb/Mar filers at TSC that are still waiting so there is a lot of catching up to do, but its a move for the better at TSC. We may know more in the next few days.. I'll be watching.

It may be all of them. There are so many more at TSC than CSC pending that it may actually require sending all of them to make a good size dent. Last I saw. there was something like a difference of 6,000 or 7,000 pending between the 2 centers....I think. So who knows :)

That is indeed the ultimate goal and may it happen sooner rather than later for all of us :)

We had a NOA1 date of May 5 and our status on the USCIS website says our petition was transferred from TSC (I'm assuming to CSC?) on August 8. No hard copy letter as of yet. Fingers crossed this means our application will stay on track!
