The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

First off, let me just say that I joined visajourney.com a few days ago and I'm happy that I did. This visa process is new for me, there's much uncertainty and it can cause me to be a bit anxious at times, but I'm happy that there are others on here that I can relate with. I'm also thankful for the wealth of information that is available.

I have been monitoring this thread yesterday and today, and I was excited to see messages pouring in about the hard copy notices being received. Since I received the update that my case was transferred on August 11th, 2014 I knew my hard copy notice was around the corner. I am just now getting home, and sitting in my mailbox waiting for me was my notice from USCIS:

"This is to advise you that in order to speed up processing we have transferred the above case to the following USCIS office for processing: California Service Center"

So like many of the rest, I know for sure that my case is in California. And the above statement is consistent with what many on here are saying... This transfer will hopefully allow a quicker turnaround on our cases (even if it is a full 5 months), quicker than if it remained in TSC.

I'm a May filer and I know there are many ahead of me. I would like to see the ones preceeding May receive priority, it's only fair. But whether it's an April or May filer receiving approval I'll still be happy because that means I'll be one step closer at receiving mine. :D

It's ironic that you live in Texas and your hardcopy notice is taking so long to get to you. The address on the envelope (where it appears to be sent from) shows Mesquite TX, but hopefully you'll have it in the next day or so. Maybe they have yours coming in a special package lol :thumbs:

M bit suprised is it only me who got change in status... Its says transferred and now veing processed. Does it mean its already processed and waiting for decision to be taken. Here is my current case status
