Mesquite, TX

I got message that we got transferred I don`t know where As I read earlier in this forum it shows for Mesquite, TX? Is it true?

We still didn`t get ARN Is it normal? We sent our petition on 22 May

There will be 2 or 3 notices sent to you regarding transfer. Mesquite is the address of the TSC which is where you already are. It is a formality to put that address on there. In all likelihood you will be sent to CSC.

It is normal yes. It took 2 days for my ARN change...some take weeks and some never see it change but it has no affect on their process. I would not worry about it if I were you :).

Yeah, that's where I suspected they were going. I doubt they will go anywhere else, but even so, one is not really enough to say they are. Once we get about 5 - 10 saying they are headed to CSC, we will probably know for sure.

Things seem to be slowing down at CSC....no where near as slow as TSC but it was 30 days for approval and now it is averaging 60-70 unless expedited. I think Igor's timeline is off because it includes all of the expedited cases from Phillipines and Ukraine. I know this is still a short wait compared to Texas but dont get too excited for a speedy approval!

I think it makes sense that those living in Texas would receive the transfer notices first. Since the notices are being mailed from Texas.

It's all relative isn't it? Speedy to a TSC filer is anything under 5 months and if these folks get a 4 to 5 month approval as a result of the transfer rather than waiting the original expected 5.5 to 7 months then that would be speedy :) (er)...

I think the days of 3 week approvals at CSC are long gone but 60-90 days is still great compared to what TSC has been going through. It will balance out for a while until it tips to the other side then transfers will happen the other way...ugh.

I don't think they're going to let the transferred petitions sit for a few months. Their goal is 5 months on all of them, & April is 5 months next month. So I'm pretty sure we are a priority.

I am the petitioner.

Speedy approval? Nothing about this has been speedy. But, if we have hope to be approved within a month or two versus the addition 3 or 4 month wait we were facing at TSC, I'm going to get excited. And I am. 60-70 days is less than 3 months. That means we would have most likely already been approved if we had gone to CSC. I feel very fortunate to have been transferred because I'm pretty sure that anything that happens now will be an improvement on the situation we were all facing just a week ago.
