Matt's case status was finally updated! It still says administrative processing, but it means they looked at his police certificate. I'm hoping for a status change this week...

I am the petitioner.

I am so sorry to hear of of this. What kind of questions did they ask if you don't mind me asking?

nothing that really stood out. basic questions about us. if we ever had an argument. had he spoken with my family. that he was muslim an I was Christian. he felt like the interview went well but as we see it did not.

My future brother in law is wonderful. Instead of having to wait 3 months to get a police certificate from Ghana, he was able to get it done in one week so now it being sent to my fiancé via DHL and we will schedule his medical soon then lastly his interview. Seeing how quick things went unexpectedly we moved our date back to safeguard us but, I kind of kick myself for being so impatient and faithless as we could have kept our april date but.. all is well.

Just checking to see if anyone know the answer to this question. we went for our 2nd interview an the lady said she denied us because she was not convinced it was a legitimate relationship. I checked CEAC web site an our status say Administrative processing. Do this mean that we are not totally denied or is it just a formality they go through?

Finally, 4 months and 3 days after my NOA2, my file reached NVC. I was more relieved and happy for that news than when I got my NOA2.

If your fiance was given his passport back, then it's a denial, sorry :( There was a story on this forum where people got the same thing from Cyprus Embassy, I believe, it didn't even matter that the bride went there from US and tried to fix the Consular's "I don't feel like your relationship have a future", which is totally outrageous, I think . They filed for spousal Visa and eventually got it.
