Just an update about my case.

Today I got the hardcopy of the letter from NVC where they provide my case number and let know the petitioner (my fiancé) that the NVC will now forward the petition to the consulate of Ciudad Juárez.

Took a week got the hardcopy letter after NVC received the case from USCIS.

Hope everyone are doing ok in the process.

May/29/2024 -- Biometrics Reuse letter released online. 

Jun/03/2024 -- Received the Biometrics Reuse letter in our mailbox at home.

July/21/2024 -- We got an email with the notice that the N-400 interview was scheduled. 

July 26/2024-- We received the physical letter with the notice that the N-400 interview was scheduled.

Sep/05/2024 -- N-400 Interview (passed!)

Sep/05/2024 -- Oath Ceremony will be scheduled. 

Sep/06/2024 -- We got an email with the notice that the Oath Ceremony was scheduled. 

Sep/17/2024 -- We received the physical letter with the info about the Oath Ceremony. 

Sep/27/2024 -- Oath Ceremony and Certificate of Naturalization issued.  (Journey over!) 

Oct/03/2024 --  We received the physical letter from SSA with the updated SSN card. 

Oct/15/2024 --  We received the physical letter from  NC DMV with my NC Real ID card.

My case is still lost in no man's land between USCIS and NVC. I got USCIS' reply to my service request today, and the reply basically just said exactly what the NOA2 stated. What a load of #######.

Removing Conditions Timeline

Aug. 10, '17: Mailed in I-751

marita same thing here. got my hard copy of letter from NVC today stating will forward case(which embassy has had it since Monday) NVC is on their game. Sorry for the comment above still waiting for you receipt of case to NVC.... hopefully it gets resolved soon. This nightmare for all of us will be over soon!

In my country , K1 visa has to book interview date ourselves. And no any empty space untill January. So my interview date is so far. Jan/14.

I have some worries dears,

My finance came to VN on Apr/2012. Then we took engagement party. Then, 2 my grandmas had serious sick and I wanted to take care of them so we did not start foour visa.. and cause of job so he did not come to me in 2013. Until Apr/2014 he came to me again and we've started for our K1 visa. I am worrying they will ask reason why my finance did not come back in 2 years. If they asked me as like this? how can I answer without doubt.

2014/04/19: Sent I-129F Packet.

2014/04/21: USCIS received

2014/04/23: NOA1 received

2014/10/15 : got approval (NOA2)

2014/11/12: got case number through phone to NVC

2014/11/18 : case ready in VN.

2014/11/20: submit DS 160.

2014/11/21 : pay for visa fee.

2014/11/21: account active for booking.

2015/01/14 : INTERVIEW - APPROVED

NOA2 approved October 14th

US Embassy Bangkok DHL delivery date from US State Department was November 7th

Updated status November 17th shows READY..

Bangkok, Thailand US Embassy.

Have not received the Packet 3 yet.

The address has NOT changed......have received both NOA1 and NOA2 at same Thailand address as made in application.

Is there anything I am missing? Do we need to complete more forms online in order to get Packet 3 ?

Others in timelines similar to ours usually get their Packet 3 in 4-7 days from arrival in Bangkok from State Department.

Thank you for any thoughts or suggestions,,,
