Hi everyone. Its been 6 and a half weeks since we got the approval after being transfered and NVC still haven't got our case. has anyone else experienced or heard of this long of waiting time? my fiancé has called them twice, first time was after 30 days and they said to wait 35 days so we did. second time they said to email a scan of the hard copy NOA2 with the receipt number in the subject line which my fiancé did on friday. hope to hear something soon. still thankful for the approval though as others are still waiting :)

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. My NOA2 was September 10th. There are a couple other people too posting on another thread (the one titled Post NOA2- NVC Stage).

Don't expect a response from the e-mail anytime soon. Your fiancee should also contact USCIS and put in a service request since it's been more than 30 days. He'll have to talk to a Tier 2 rep. If they say it has already been sent, tell them no, they're full of (but in a nicer way of course).

I'm glad theres more than one of us! yeah he's gonna call uscis tomorrow. I'll tell him to be persistent. I was having a mini freak out earlier but feeling better after finding people in the same situation, not that I'm glad that its taking longer than usual. thank you for the reply

Totally understand. It does relieve a little anxiety knowing you're not alone.

It is better to call them as early as 7 in the morning. All three times I called them I was able to get trough within 25 minutes. The third time I called I was able to talk to someone within 10 minutes. So I believe 7 AM is a good time to call them.

Yep, I agree. The alternate is after 11 PM. I usually don't have much trouble calling then either.

Yeah, they just don't want you to call back. For most people, it takes a lot less than 35 days.

More progress for us...

Our approved I-129f packet is en-route to US Embassy Bangkok...it left NVC Monday November 3rd...

NVC website shows message "In Transit" to Consulate

Bangkok should receive end of this week...

Just maybe ....Packet 3 will be mailed by end of the following week...

Keep the faith...progress does come...as slow as it seems at times.

Good luck to all...
