Hmmmmm...Our NOA 2 date was 14 October

I called NVC at 10.45pm Central time. ..31 October

expecting to be told CLOSED but was

answered within 3 minutes...nice surprise.

Very helpful clerk gave me the new case#

Said still in process at NVC.

Also said that the NVC sends me an email

to update the case when it leaves NVC for the

Embassy. ..I did not know of the followup email to come. Maybe I missed it in reading this forum.

Has anyone gotten the email from NVC with case# and date it was sent to the embassy?

Thanks

Tj

Congrats everyone and thanks for the info. So, after NVC forwards to embassy eventually the embassy will let him know when they are ready for him but, they won't schedule his interview until he confirms to them his "ready" status correct?

I entered the new NVC case number in the State Department CEAC website.

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA==

Selected Immigrant

Enter the case number

Press enter...

Popup appears with the status of the case.

Ours shows "At NVC"

It is in processing...

I will look again each day to learn when it has been sent to the Embassy.
