I called NVC this am an after staying on hold almost 45 minutes I found out our case have not arrived yet. she stated it normally takes 5 weeks from NOA2 notice date. So not sure if my fiance will make the it here for christmas especially if the medical an interview dates are slow as well.

That is the one - Lewisville, TX. That's the address where the Dallas lockbox is. Once you receive your NOA1 in the mail and see your case number then you can update it to either California or Texas Service Center (most likely California for you) :)

Immigration Timeline

 

June 2013: Met whilst working at a summer camp in Michigan 

K1

November 1st 2014: I-129f submitted for K1 visa

February 24th 2015: Visa in hand!

February 26th 2015: POE at Las Vegas airport, then onwards to Oregon! 

March 6th 2015: Marriage (with a "real" wedding to follow next year on 7/6/2016)

March 9th 2015: AOS, EAD & AP submitted

September 22nd 2015: Interview

January 14th 2016: Two year Green card received -phew!

ROC

August 8th 2017: 90 day window begins! ROC time!

September 28th 2017: Biometric Appointment in Portland, OR

March 5th 2018: Case received by local office

August 18th 2018: 18 month extension letter mailed

December 2018: Case moved to another office

February 2019: I was emailed that I was approved and my card was in production the same day of my N400 interview 😂

N400

August 8th 2018: Window opens to submit naturalization application

August 13th 2018: N400 Application submitted online 

August 14th 2018: NOA1

September 6th 2018: Biometrics

February 6th 2019: Interview Date! APPROVED!

February 6th 2019: I was asked to return later the same day for my Oath Ceremony! :dance:

Hello Guys. NVC received my file yesterday. Today they gave me a case number. Can somebody please tell ne what to do now? Or whats the next step?

I called NVC this am an after staying on hold almost 45 minutes I found out our case have not arrived yet. she stated it normally takes 5 weeks from NOA2 notice date. So not sure if my fiance will make the it here for christmas especially if the medical an interview dates are slow as well.

5 weeks is alot of time. Mine took 17 days. 5 weeks 8s torture.

it will be.....as long as you give them what they ask for it will be first......wishing you all the best....an approval is coming......have you replied to their RFE?

I just saw that your RFE was received on 23rd October....... this week an approval is coming your way.........hang in there or even today

Good Morning All !!

We filed with TSC- NOA1 May 13th, TXFR'd to CSC on Aug 11th. I updated my Fiance's address from St Martin

NV back to her Mothers in SP Brazil on Sept 24th in anticipation of things moving along !!

I contacted Congressman after 5mths expired Oct 15th, seeing processing dates for CSC beyond ours. Oct 24th

received email notice of APPROVAL at 10:45p then Change of address notification at 11:15p. Turns out Approval

was sent in ERROR !!! How CRUEL !!

And we supposedly live in one of the most tecnologically advanced countries, certainlly no $$ is being spent with

USCIS !! We need a BOND system so our Fiance's can come start being a part of thier New Families pending the

snails pace of USCIS ! I would SO write that Cheque !!!

USCIS offer no refunds, no guarantees of service, no date for completion. It is simply mind blowing, but they are the only game in town so what can we do? I wonder if we could report them to the BBB better business bureau? :rolleyes: If you or I ran our business that way, we would be shut down quick, fast and in a hurry.
