After NOA2 comes what is the average time for NVC to receive your File.??

Average? 2-3 weeks.

Nope. I called them again last Friday morning and they still hadn't received it. The man I spoke to on Friday was not as helpful as the previous one, and just said I was SOL for now, and that I should call back Thursday or Friday this week. Yeah, thanks dude, really helpful advice. I indeed plan to call back tomorrow morning...

I'm thinking NVC already received it but just hadn't entered it into their system yet. But I'm really surprised it's taken this long. If after calling tomorrow they still don't have it maybe you can have them put an inquiry into USCIS as the previous person you spoke with suggested.

Thank You. Who receives the packet 3 me or the beneficiary?

Packet 3 would be received by the beneficiary but it depends on the country. For example, Nigeria doesn't send out Packet 3. Instead, we received an email with the instructions from the embassy.

Yeah, I e-mailed NVC as they suggested, but they haven't replied to my e-mail yet. If they tell me tomorrow they still don't have it, I will tell them about the e-mail and also send up a follow e-mail. The visa gods probably decided they were too kind to me with my NOA2, so now I should have some drama :).

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity  On October 15, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

Sep/05/2024 -- Oath Ceremony will be scheduled.

Hi, my status when I got my RFE was this:

Your Case Status: Request for Evidence  On September 25, 2014, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

A sign I've chatted with NVC too many times: I'm recognizing voices and names now. I've spoken to Dale a couple times, plus another dude twice. There don't seem to be too many staff working at NVC...

(Oh, and NVC still hasn't received my case of course)

Can we get hopeful that by the end of the year we will get our packages and interviews?

Im running out of time, the owners of my apartment are selling it and I have to move out soon, dont want to commit for another six months when i have to go home to U.S...

May of you call to NVC, I cant call because iM in Chile... Its frustrating??

At one point can they schedule their medical. What documentation do they need in hand to do that ?

And also how do you track it after it's left NVC ?

I'm feeling so frustrated with USCIS. They received my RFE response 10 days ago. A divorce certificate was needed. Originally I had sent a notarized letter of marriage eligibility and a notarized letter of proof of divorce. They wanted the original Chinese Divorce Booklet. I sent that and a professionally translated copy as well, complete with certificate of translation. They have had 10 days to spend 10 seconds looking it over. Still nothing... I know people have waited longer than me, but it sure sucks to be this close to being approved and hear nothing with the holidays drawing near. :cry:

I will be 40 and single for thanksgiving and 41 and single for Christmas! :cry:

Sorry, just had to get it off my chest. :rolleyes:
