FINALLY was able to get through the NVC after about a dozen times calling and getting a busy signal. Waited on hold for 35 minutes just for them to tell me, 2 and half weeks after NOA2, they still don't have the case. It can take up to 30 days to send from one agency to the other. And then 5 days for them to send it to the Embassy in Paris.

CMON OBAMA!

Obama... I cannot wait until he's gone. It is so embarrassing. :cry:

May/29/2024 -- N-400 submitted online.

May/29/2024 -- NOA 1 released online.

May/29/2024 -- Biometrics Reuse letter released online. 

Jun/03/2024 -- Received the Biometrics Reuse letter in our mailbox at home.

July/21/2024 -- We got an email with the notice that the N-400 interview was scheduled. 

July 26/2024-- We received the physical letter with the notice that the N-400 interview was scheduled.

Sep/05/2024 -- N-400 Interview (passed!)

Sep/05/2024 -- Oath Ceremony will be scheduled. 

Sep/06/2024 -- We got an email with the notice that the Oath Ceremony was scheduled. 

Sep/17/2024 -- We received the physical letter with the info about the Oath Ceremony. 

Sep/27/2024 -- Oath Ceremony and Certificate of Naturalization issued.  (Journey over!) 

Oct/03/2024 --  We received the physical letter from SSA with the updated SSN card. 

Oct/15/2024 --  We received the physical letter from  NC DMV with my NC Real ID card.

Agree what does Obama has to do with all this?? Bureaucracy is present in all governments...

At least Im grateful to his government because we are a same sex couple and now we have the same federal rights as other citizens, something no other government has giving us before...

lol I was joking. He obviously has nothing to do with my case, and the whole process was slow and inefficient before him, and will be slow and inefficient after him.

Anyways I called USCIS and they provided absolutely zero information as to when the damn case will be transferred. They said ONLY that after 30 days from the NOA2, if the NVC has still not received the case, then I can call back. I asked what they would do at that time and she said only "we would determine the course of action at that time." So, zero useful information.

Today marks 6 months since our case was submitted to USCIS.

I'm hesitant to start up a rant about Obama so I'll bow out gracefully. :no: It's not the place for the conversation and I already said too much. :rolleyes:

have you tried sending email to?' belive it or not i have gotten several answerd from them, but they didnt have my case yet. as soon as I get the NOA2 letter i will insist. I can not call because Im in Chile...
