Hi Michael,

Did u send your doc by ups or post office? I sent on sep/30 but did not hear any info ...

I sent my docs via USPS on Saturday 9/27 & they received it on Monday 9/29 (priority mail/2 day)

Sorry, the lawyer sent it and I didn't ask how she was sending it. I know that USCIS send it me the RFE via USPS and it only took 3 days so I expected it to take the same going back to them. I suspect my reply was received in 3 days but it took another few days for USCIS to sort it and acknowledge that they received it. So I think your RFE is there and they will let you know soon. Their system is weird tonight.

Got the email at 11:00 and the text just now at 11:30.

Thanks a lot. Hope i get infos today.

March 23: Marriage

June 10: Mailed AOS via USPS 2 day priority delivery

June 12: USCIS Received paperwork

June 17: NOA1-Text messages confirming AP/EAD and AOS

June 23: NOA1- Hard copy AP/EAD and AOS

June 27: Biometrics Letter in the mail for July 7th

July 7: Biometrics Appointment

August 21: EAD Approval (Email Notification)

August 24: AP Approval (Email Notification)

August 25: Hard Copy NOA2 Received for EAD/AP

August 25: EAD/AP Card is Mailed/Document Production

August 28: EAD/AP Combo Card Received

October 8: AOS update: Card/ Document production (NO NPIW letter or Interview)

October 9: AOS "Decision"

October 13: Notice to Conditional Permanent Resident Alien letter received

October 19: Green card delivered :-)

Dear all,

Has anyone got the same status with me? My finance sent back rfe on sep/30 via post office and it did not have tracking number also...how can I check it now? And do you think uscis will see it if i did not send it via usps?. I am scare it was be lost....huhu. so stressed...

Congratulations!!. It will take about 3 weeks for the paperwork to reach you embassy (USCIS to NVC - NVC to Embassy). The interview date varies depending on the country. Good luck!!! :dancing::dancing:

I think you will get it today. I sent mine the same day and did not get it until after I had gone to sleep last night. Today is only half gone so far. But I am the same way as you. I worry, worry, worry and check, check, check the sites so much it makes me crazy. USCIS is completely unpredictable and I gave up trying to figure it out. I really think you will be ok. I always get the messages after I go to sleep or when I get in the car and go for a drive, never when I am next to the computer checking for an update, haha.

Right now it is only noon in California and think they work until 6:30 and I have received from them as late as 11:30 here which was 9:30 at night there, so you have at least 9-1/2 hours left for today to get some good news. :)

I know this is probably off topic but does anyone know how soon you can contact NVC for a case number and exactly how you contact NVC? I'm a little confused about what happens next in the process after NOA2. I don't want to be sitting on my a** when there could be steps I can take to get through the next phase as quickly as possible. If anyone has links to any threads about this and could point me in the right direction that would be great! And for everyone who got an RFE, keep hanging in there. :)
