Does he have an email confirmation he can print out? Bank statement? Any credit card slips or indications on his record of purchases made in your area during his visits are also good proofs to include.

I am the petitioner.

yeah for some reason delta did not save my travel stuff from Late May so I simply went to my inbox and printed out "my it's time to check in" email and it had listed where I was going and the dates so....every little bit helps I guess. sigh. I mailed my stuff off yesterday. I couldn't fit it all in the little envelope they gave so I got an envelope from the post office, addressed it placed the blue paper ontop of my supporting documents and the envelope they sent on the very top lol.

I think I am a worrier. Please correct me if I am wrong. so, our RFE was they said I forgot to answer the questions about criminal record which all would be no for me. The second thing was I never wrote a letter about our circumstances of meeting and last personal meeting evidence. So, on the second sheet it has the questions yes or no for the criminal history part then the part below it that goes with it if you DO have a history of some sort. What I did was I simply went on the forms website, printed out that particular page they were asking, checked no on everything then the part below it wrote N/A alongside the three questions as you have no option to write NO and then I wrote never had a criminal history see questions above along each question it was referring to. Secondly, I typed up a letter regarding how we met and sent in passport stamps, itineraries boarding passes ect. Did I do it correctly?

It sounds good to me. You have worked so hard on it, they cannot be so cruel to make it take any longer.

The case status page is down https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do so I guess they are doing maintenance on a Sunday. Perhaps that is why they never acknowledged receipt of my response to RFE. Yes, I admit I even check it on Sundays, haha.

Nothing yet. My lawyer sent them back on 9/29, almost a week ago and *crickets chirping* is all I have heard so far. I was expecting an acknowledgement of receipt of the reply to RFE by now.

My fiance just marked 'no' on the sheet they sent him (same that you got), although my first assumption before he had it would be to do what you did. Since they sent him that page though, it makes sense (to me, at least), just to check 'no' on it and send it back to them.

Hmmm not letting me edit so here is my question. When I check the status of the visa on the NVC site it says "Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center."

Does that mean they actually know the date already and I could call and get it, or it's like the rest of the automated systems and less than accurate?

Thanks

Have you checked the Brazil info page? I'm guessing it is automated and less than accurate, since the consulates are the ones that set the interview date.

Thanks mike! Hopefully we all get some approvals! Aida, I hope I did it correctly by printing out the page I needed to correct for them rather than just answering no on the page they provided . With them who knows right!!
