I sent my RFE back one day after I received it. I got an email/text notification within two days that it had been received. I also got a paper in the mail oct 29 that it was received. I haven't heard anything since but I will call on Monday. If I am approved next week, is there still a shot for a Xmas wedding?

If you put no in all of I-129F part 3 question 2, then I agree with you, question 3 is not applicable. I don't understand it either.

It seems almost impossible to make a mistake there. Do you have a scanned copy of your I-129F to make sure you did not make a simple mistake?

Hi there. I think they made a mistake. On my RFE for the I129F, the list said "Your I130 is missing...1) my birth certificate (which I definitely already sent), 2) Divorce Decree (I had sent the official, stamped certificate of divorce so this time I sent the full decree copy, 3) my fiance's non-existent divorce decree (he was never married).

When I called USCIS, they told me papers get lost and mistakes are made and to simply explain all of this in the cover letter. I did. What I think you should do is send a copy of the original criminals records page and explain in the cover letter that you have no criminal records. Just double-check the boxes and explain again. The officer may have looked for it wrong. I hope it goes well:)

It makes me wonder what kind of monkeys they hire to check our papers there. :ranting:

For picture evidence, I printed off about 15 pics in color on regular printer paper and included some emails and itineraries from trips along with statements and our story. That part was accepted

Para evidencia del cuadro, me imprimió cerca de 15 fotografías en color en papel normal de la impresora e incluí algunos correos electrónicos e itinerarios de viajes, junto con las declaraciones y nuestra historia. Esa parte fue aceptada

Thank you very much for the info !!!

Plane tickets are not mandatory since you could take a train or a bus to get to some places. Plane tickets only show that you were in n the same country, same as the passport. so the passport should be enough along with photos. However, maybe he could print out the itinerary from the web page that he booked the tickets. He may even have an emailed confirmation when he bought the tickets. I would just send that stuff if you can and not worry about it. I think the passport and photos should be enough. You could also have family or friends that saw you together write written statements that you were together, be sure to include the place a dates. Edited by MichaelYaoling

I am not expert in this. ..some thoughts. ..

Are there stamps In & Out of your country in his US Passport?

Did he use a credit card to buy his tickets? If so...have him look at credit card statements. ..OR ...did he use a airline where he also earned frequent flyer miles?

If so. ..look at the miles earned record. It will show all of his trips where miles were earned.

Good luck. You are getting close to approval :-)
