I received my RFE email/text/update on site in 9/23/14 and got the letter 9/25/14 and mailed back 9/27/14 and they received 9/29/14. On the notice it said I had until December 16 to respond just so you can have an idea.

I think you should call them asa0 today. You have only 60 days to reply them. I got email on sep/20. I received hard copy on sep26. Then I signed on criminal record and sent on sep/30. But until now. I havent got any infos. Does anyone got long time to send to csc as me? My finance is in Dallas.

I don't have any updates, but I'd just like to say you all have been awesome on this thread. Everyone has been positive and supportive towards everyone else. A great collaborative effort. Best of luck to everyone as we plow through this stuff!!

Thanks Texasav8r for starting this even though you weren't one of the transferred ones. Many of us on VJ will be delighted when you get your NOA2.

Yes, I've browsed a few other threads since joining VJ but I've chosen to stick with this one because it's the best by far (at least in my opinion ;)! And I also have been checking in on Texasav8r's timeline from time to time. This person was very helpful to me and others when I first joined so I can't wait to see NOA2 on Texasav8r's timeline.

And usmsbow I'm sure they should have your case at NVC by next week (if it's not already there now). Mine is now In Transit, so it only took a couple of days for processing.

I was going to type a letter of our circumstances of how we met. So you think I should scan it to my fiancé he sign it and scan it back or, I simply send one letter on both of our behalf? For evidence of last meeting I'm sending boarding passes, hotel receipts and copies of both passports. Do I need to do all pages or simply ones showing entry and leave to our countries?

The petitioner writes and signs the latter. Think of it as a little essay "how I met my..."

I would think those pages proving you where their.

Good morning VJ! so, I am getting my stuff together to send for evidence for RFE. Couple of other questions. THey provide you with a tiny envelope but, would it be a problem if I placed more evidence per se in a brown padded envelope along with the paper documents in the envelope they provide. I want to send pictures as well and obviously it won't fit in the envelope they sent. The paper documents I will place in their envelope in the manner they ask with the RFE blue sheet on top but also wanted to include pictures. Any thoughts? Thank you for tips always

also, we got an RFE about the acknowledgement of criminal record saying I failed to answer all the questions (which I know I did ) but anyhoo. they paper they give you is that just an example of do you simply check yes or no. OR, should I reprint that page and fill it out accordingly and send it in?

I am confused. I know I checked no to everything on page five part two bc I have never been involved in any crime therefore, how can I check anything on questions 3 if part 2 is not applicable?
