I just got another text. & checked my status. & it says it's been sent to my local office for further processing. Anyone else's say that?

I received an email on the 8th saying our case had been transferred to another center for processing (we are early May filers) we were originally at TSC. Just now I received another notification saying we had been transferred to " your local uscis office for further processing"

Any one else receive this too following the initial notification of transfer?? What does it mean? And when do we find out where we've been transferred too?

My status just changed to

On August 11, 2014, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

I just went to the USCIS website and searched their field office locations. There's one in Houston that serves my county. But if they don't typically do 129fs..what if they get it wrong??

I dont know why .......but my mother made a petition for me 2 years ago like citizen at Florida and now my fiance made the petition ....wow....i hope this is good news..

Is it good? Because I'm pretty much having a panic attack & crying. I feel like this has completely jacked up everything. I want to go back to TSC :'(

I just got the update saying my local office also. Does this mean the local office for our State or a Service Center?

Mine got moved to a local office 10 minutes ago.

So my thinking is that they've basically chopped off the filers from April-May at TSC, and sent them to local offices to speed things along.

I don't think for one minute this is bad news, if anything it's probably good news as it shows progress is being made quite fast.

I think we are going to have to wait and see what the actual letter says. For what it is worth, my NOA1 is April 8.

I hope this is good news. I am moving back to the states tomorrow and my fiance and I were readying to spend a long time apart, but maybe our goodbye will be less melancholy
