I think it amazing how many in the transfer including myself got RFE..... I think the adjudicators are hungry or something and bc of lack of food they just started posting RFE's!

Lolz, seems so! probably the catsup of their burger fell over one of our documents and for that reason they sent the RFE for fix their mess, lol XD (joking).

Anyway, I must admit that we didnt add the beneficiary letter of intent (me), when I found Visajourney was after we sent our petition, so we had the newbie mistake of the thought that only the petitioner have to sent that letter, but anyway, we gonna wait the hardcopy, because who knows, maybe they are requesting something else.

Best regards.

Did they confuse the RFE with MRE? :jest:

It does not need to be notarized. Also the one from the foreign fiancé needs only be a scanned copy. He/she can bring the original to he interview.

Check this out http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/439649-letter-of-intent-to-marry-need-notarized/

I have an immigration attorney myself and it was not needed to be notarized.

thanks so much for the help...................

apero did you give them an intent to marry previously? i am wondering if mine was too vague from the beginning if that is the reason why we are getting a RFE. I am getting my fiance to do an intent to marry according to what is on visajourney. I too am doing one so if indeed that is the reason for the RFE, it will be more official looking as I admit it did look ghetto how we did it. It was hand written lol.

I (petioner ) only had mine my baby didn't do a letter of intent that's why I think they need new ones

For those of you that received the hard copy of the RFE in the mail... was it sent first class post or registered mail?

I am trying to guess how long before I will get the hardcopy, yes I am a glutton for punishment, knowing anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks, but still curious. it is so boring to wait in the dark.

I got in the RFE on 9/19 and received it in regular mail on9/24

Best regards.

It was a pizza party. No one brought plates. So they used random pieces of different people's petitions as plates & napkins. At least for the ones where people say they've sent the stuff already that USCIS sent the RFE for.

Has anyone who received their NOA2 around 12 September received their case status at the NVC yet? I tried calling but don't have time to sit all day redialing.

Thanks

My NOA2 date was September 10th. Called NVC yesterday, they hadn't received it yet. I would suggest giving them a call next week. I'm planning to call them again Monday morning.

Well i've been married before. And there was a child involved but she A adult now and so I didn't send all of it just the final papers that showed the judge signature . That it was finalized.

And apparently they lost our passport photos and I'm thinking how in the world do they do those things. Lol

Am I the only one that got transferred to Cali from Texas that has not received an approval or an RFE? Looking at the Igor list, it seems Cali is back to approving July applications. I’m wondering if my application got lost in the transfer.
