Showing Sufficient Income.....

I am preparing for affidavit of support and I want to know what other means of support are acceptable?

For 2012-13 I opened a new business but 2013 was the first time I filed my business tax and my income

from that was under the poverty line. Also my last taxes have been under the poverty line. How can I increase

or show other means of income?

What you made last year isn't what they will be concerned about. They will be interested in what you are currently making. If it's still under the 125% poverty level, you can use assets to supplement your income and see if it will be above the poverty level then.

If you have any eligible household members that can combine their income/assets with you to meet the requirement, that is another option.

The last option would be to find a joint sponsor, however they have to meet the requirement on their own, or with their eligible household members. They cannot combine their income with you to meet the requirement.

Hope this helps.
