Oh no, sorry to hear that! Good news is that the form only applies to text/email notification for when they receive your package. Once you receive your NOA hard copies, you can set up an account on the USCIS website and get status updates from then on :)

Thank you for the suggestion Pickle! I set up an account on the USCIS website and can see that my I-130 is in review.

Congrats to you all who have had some activity in your cases. Time is moving so should all be getting some news pretty soon. Good luck every one!

oh i see. I read that some didnt even do the interview. I hope that happened to me. Or at least get the wor permit.

P. d. Im waiting to buy the iphone lol

The interview that get waived is only for K-1 visa applicants who had a recent interview at the consulate to get their fiance visas. All of us who are adjusting from the WST category needs to be interviewed. When I first read about waivers I was hoping for that too!

You're welcome! I am happy to see that you finally got your NOA, but I wonder why it is only for the I-130. In 10 days it will be a month since you sent in your package, so I would say wait a week or so and if you still haven't received anything else, contact them.

I finally go my biometrics letter today. I even went by the office since I live pretty close to see if they do walk in biometrics and the lady said they don't do them in Milwaukee. My appointment is for 9/23. I guess I just have to wait. At least things are moving along. Congrats to everyone who got news too.

Just got an alert that an RFE is in the mail for me. :ranting:

It's on the I-485 application case status so I hope it's just a silly document missing, although I tripled checked that thing..

Something tells me it could be an I-864A from my sponsor's ex-wife. I didn't send that because i didn't wanna send anything else they didn't ask for, but I saw here that sometimes they ask for stuff that is not request in any site/instructions. Like the birth certificates from the sponsors. But like I said I didn't wanna send anything they DIDN'T ask for.

I guess I'll have to wait for this letter... and being the weekend.. the wait is gonna be even longer :crying:

Would they tell me what it is if I called them?

Less than two weeks away, that's great! I remember seeing the girl from Milwaukee on one of the other AOS threads were also denied a walk-in.

Wow and just a day after your biometrics--that was fast (which is a good thing I guess if you are trying to look for a silver lining)! Sorry to hear that. I would have just waited for the letter if I were you, but I guess no harm in trying to see if they will give you that info over the phone.
