We were getting worried not hearing anything about my EAD card but I finally got a notice that it's in production today (day 91)! Also got my I-485 updated to "testing and interview" 84 days after the NOA1. I know others have gotten theirs updated sooner so I guess it's all dependent on the local offices. To others, good luck and hang in there!

So I got my interview done on Nov 10.

I just want to share my interview experience with you guys.

And during the interview, my husband and I were asked about the information on I-485 and I-130.

And I were asked I-485 a bunch of "Have you ever" questions.

And then she asked us about how we met and when we became in a relationship and when we decided to get married.

And she also asked does my husband talk to my parents when I skype with my parents or sth like that ?

Then I showed her the lease from my mom- in-law and some joint bank statements and joint tax returns.

After that, she started saying about I will get two year residency card since the marriage is young and I have to renew it 3 months before it expires and keep collecting proof of marriage like bills during the two year and she said about eligibility for citizenship.

Then we showed her our photos and then she kept some photos and she removed I-94 from my passport.

And she asked us do we have any questions for two times and then at the second time, I asked her " Will I get " Before I finish, she said I will get conditional permanent residency card around 6 to 8 weeks and the longest time 6 months.

What I wanted to tell you guys is make sure you and your spouse should know not only the date of birth of each other but also the city of birth.

And you should also know the parents' names of your spouse. Even though I was not asked this question, this is the question I think some people were asked. Well, I would say make sure you remember every information you fill on I-130 and I 485.

And my husband was asked when we moved to new house, so if you recently moved before or after filing the application, make sure your remember when you moved.

When I checked my USCIS case status online today, I saw " My card was ordered to be produced".

Oh goodness, 148 days, that is very concerning! I'm only going to do a service request for my EAD, since I'm getting close to the 90 day mark, but I will definitely keep you updated. Did you see OKC is now doing January 2014 applications...

Not sure if the processing times are correct for local offices, Norfolk's last case according to the site was early April 2014. I wasn't expecting anything till January or February

You're right they are not always very accurate. Which is a good thing on the one side, because it means we can get an interview date sooner than expected (like you did!). Can also be bad, because in the event that we don't hear anything regarding our case, we cannot contact them until our filing month shows up. Thanks for giving me a little glimmer of hope!
