So have you gotten any of those NOA's yet? It's now been a month since you filed, so I would say it should be safe to call them if there is nothing in the mail today. You can call the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283.

This is exactly what I will do! Thanks Pickle!

Welcome, glad you joined us! That's great that your status changed so fast! Your EAD and AP are separate from your AOS application (it is not required to apply for it), so yes I would think that is normal.

Good luck to you, keep us updated and remember to check older filer threads (May, June, July) to get an idea of how long recent cases took/are taking.

Had my biometrics appointment today, literally went through security, filled out a very simple form, gave it back to front desk, didn't even get a chance to call sit down and they called my number, finger prints/picture taken, done in less than 10 minutes. Was actually shocked how quick and easy it was! Hope everyone else's cases are moving along smoothly.

@Starkilla09 and recneps9, congrats on the approvals! That was super fast. I also went for my biometrics September 8 like you guys.

@jbarrett, that's great that the biometrics was over so quickly. I know each case is different, but from what I've seen from a few people here on VJ at California local offices, their cases moved pretty fast (in comparison with other office, like mine...) over there.
