Hoefully they will not even ask, but you may wish to tell your tather that you are in this situation and may be backed into a corner and have to tell them about him. This way at least he won't be taken by surprise and will do what he has not bothered to do yet, namely fix his own problem.

I have talked to him about it and we've both decided that he comes home a week before my interview date.

Will that suffice? Do I need to bring evidence that he actually is in the Philippines?

CBP/USCIS knows, in these days of computers his required exit date was logged and it will be noted when he leaves the USA. And at a later date if he tried to get a visa again they will see he over-stayed last time. This is all his issue, not yours. Relax...

You don't need to bring anything in regards to your father. You only need to answer questions honestly, and factually.

Your father may still have a problem if he wants another visa in the future. But this post is about you not having problems, and the way to not get any from this is to tell the truth in response to all questions.

You understand that he could face not ever getting a visa again or possible suspension penalties of 3 or 5 years. Sometimes its better to correct the overstay from the US than from the Philippines. Has he talked to a immigration lawyer to see what his options are?
