Hi. im so glad i found this forum i was a little bit lost with the forms hehe its awesome.

Im filing for a concurrent i-130 & i-485. My wife is the us citizen sponsoring me and i had some questions before sealing the package.

a- I got the fisical original certified translation fo my birth certificate (from Argentina). Do i have to send that original one or the copy of it?

b- Does my wife need to send a passport style photo of her? Or jusst mine?

c- (affidavit of support) If we have a joint bank account where i put my money, does that count as an external income for my wife?

d- i have the g-145, g-325a (two mine and one hers), i-130, i-485, i-765, i-131, i-864, i-864a forms and the medical exam all completed.

Photocopies of my and wife's passports, birth certificates of each (mine translated), tax returns, joint bank account information, certified marriage license. I would like to know if im missing anything please.

Thanks!

a. unless specified to send originals, you can submit copies

b. you both have to send passport-style photos. read the instructions, as you may have to submit more than 1.

c. I864 (Affidavit of Support) is you. You have to provide pay statements/Tax Returns. Joint bank account would be mainly for evidence purposes.

d. don't forget to send the checks with the right dollar amount for each form. also, submit any other documents that you think would help your case.

good luck! I did the concurrent filing as well.

ya, the I-864 is for the USCitizen petitioner, not the foreign spouse beneficiary.

as to your funds 'adding in' - uncertain.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

thank you for your answers. I only need the affidavit of support now.

Currently my wife doesn't meet the minimal income requirement so we are doing a joint sponsor.

What kind of papers should i send too? Other from the forms. For example, a letter from the employer??

holding a tourist visa currently, you are not allowed to legally work in the USA,

so a letter on you, the foreign beneficiary, from an employer in the USA,

would raise a big red flag.

I hope you can make time to rethink this,

or perhaps you were asking about what a co-sponser needs to submit ?
