The "reason" for AP is checking that the beneficiary is not a terrorist, nor has links to terrorism.

is this for real?? so its not like ant other reasons? cuz we went thru really quick from NOA1 to Approved. and we cant really think anything would cause AP slower, only the DATA PROBLEM lately might get it slower... and I am 120% sure he hasnt a link or anything related terrorism..

I know that , but why take so long?

There are people in ap for years.

They dont have the competance to do their job shortly?

That show that they dont have capacity to work.

I know one person in ap for 4 years and seven months, in that time they can find the informations from all people around the world.

Blame people who love to bombing. I knew one member here got approval after almost 5 years under AP. No one need to blame but terrorists. Do you know how many people used same names especially for those who link to terrorism? Using many alias? Do you know there was an innocent person had went through long security background check because his name similar to the famous terrorist? If it was easy to find information, then why it took years before they finally found Osama bin Laden?

No matter how resentful I was after my B-2 visa got denied at the US embassy in Jakarta but I have to admit this is the only way to prevent terrorists come to the US and destroyed the country. Terrorists activities destroyed countries including my country and I won't let them have free way to come and do whatever they want.

I know they have t be careful with people thatvthey let go to usa. But they have a lot tecnologic nowdays to know who is who.

I know about similar names or alias, but fingerprints aren the same, each people have diferent fingerprints.

Put people in ap for years only show they are ineficient doing their job, usa have a lot tecnology to spy people around the world and know their lives in one second.

With ap they like torture people and violate the rights of family to be together.

In my case never I havent been arrested, or havent criminals records, I am teacher in my country, and never never I havent participate in nothing wrong, so why torture to me and my fiance with this stupi ap?

I understand your feelings when they put you under Administrative Processing (AP). But here the thing, AP is not necessarily link to terrorism. One of my friends here they put her under AP because the CO suspecting the relationship is not real. They asked address of her brother in the US, calling her mom in Greece, and that kind stuff. It is not because they can't do their job. They definitely know what they are doing. They are well trained to see whether it is a true love or only for green card. (I know my friend's relationship is real).

Fingerprints is not always same, I have to tell you this. That's depend how they took yours on fingerprints machine. Do you know that I had to do FOUR times fingerprints! First, after they took all my documents for my K-1 visa application then right before they conduct my interview, and these things had happened on SAME DAY! I had to do twice fingerprints at same day on my interview. Third time when I had my Port of Entry (PoE) and again at my biometric for adjustment of status. Not only that, at SAME DAY for my biometric, the lady had to redo many times my fingerprints because they were not match each other even she just took a few minutes ago! Imagine to do these things and screening among thousand hundreds people.

The US government has right to protect the country. They do not care if the immigration journey will make others suffered. All they think is, a marriage can fall apart and people can divorced any time but if some terrorists took away many lives, they can't make the people's lives back. And how many families will have to suffer the rest of their life losing the loved ones by terrorists?

Know your enemy and know yourself and you can fight a hundred battles without disaster.Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat

The "reason" for AP is checking that the beneficiary is not a terrorist, nor has links to terrorism.

So why is it that some people are in AP for a week and others wait weeks, months, even years? It just doesn't make sense and is extremely ridiculous. It doesn't take a year to do a background check. Honestly!

Posted

I agree, and some people have 3, 4 , 5 years in,ap.

Why take so long?

Doesnt usa have the capacity to make a background check in months?

One thing is sure, they volate the rights of people in ap long time, because they dont tell why is the ap.

I know some people that after live legaly at usa with working visas or students visas, having houses, family, children etc, they go to their home country to renew their visas and they are put in ap long time, some of this people losse their jobs, even houses, because they put peoole long time in ap, it is look like they dont want that they want that people losse everything and no come back to usa.

Another thing is sure usa capacity to know the lives of people around the world with tecnologies, and secret agencies is well known, so I dont understand why do that to peoole and destroy lives

So why is it that some people are in AP for a week and others wait weeks, months, even years? It just doesn't make sense and is extremely ridiculous. It doesn't take a year to do a background check. Honestly!
