picking up medical results

Can my fiancee pick up her medical results on a Sunday? Or will she have to go the friday before? Our interview is on a Monday.

After June 1st they changed the way Medical Exam results are handled...

Because the results of the medical examination can take several days, we recommend that you go to Consultorios de Visa at least three/two weeks before you go to the Consular Section for your visa interview, in order to avoid delays in the process of your visa. (I recommend to any Dominican Beneficiary to go just under the 30 day mark.)

The medical results, starting in June 1^st, will be given to the visa applicant as soon as the results are ready, however, if there is any problem with your medical condition the results will be sent directly to the Consular Section.

Oh wow, never noticed that! Thank you. She has not had her medical yet... waiting for her packet to come still. She is going to call inposdom next week. She already called this week and they still had not received it.

We will take your advice and have her go do the medical next week. We just got the electronic packet 4 moments ago.

Since you have it in electronic format if she has access to a printer, you can actually print out the appt. letter for her to take to the Consultorios De Visa or she can ask for a reprint at the embassy but that can take a day to be done.

Have you read the Dominican K-1 Wiki page?? If not you both should do so asap. It will give you all the steps you need next!
