AOS stuck at NBC?

Hi there,

The NBC received my application for AOS back in March. I have since received my work permit and a notification of Interview waiver status (in June). Should my application have been forwarded to a different office? Is it normal for me not to receive any kind of update about the application from the NBC? When i check my green card status online it reads "Request for Evidence Response Review".

I know people who applied in April who have their green cards already. This wait is so difficult, does anyone have a similar experience or light to shed on mine?

Any help and information would be appreciated.

I just cant stand not knowing anything at all.

Those that stay at the NBC to be approved without interview are typically taking longer than those that get an interview. Some have waited 10+ months. You can check the progress reports for the month you filed to see where the others that filed at the same time as you are at in their process.

You aren't stuck; you are simply in the processing queue.

It could take a year or so before you hear anything, and will need to be patient.

Mine was at NBC from last Nov until a week ago, although it stayed at "acceptance" until, "decision", never seen the status yours seems to be in though.

Plus the wait isn't difficult, you have EAD and AP I assume so makes no real difference to you other than having to go through the visitors queue at the airport.

if you got your letter in June then you should have GC by Xmas.
