After 15 months waiting my interview is tomorrow in Kingston. Just a quick check to see if I am missing anything, I want to be prepared but not paranoid.

Main packet:

- Appointment Letter

- DHL Confirmation Letter

- I864

- Medical Report

- Tax Records 2011-2013

- 2 passport sized pictures

-We had sent copies of our marriage and my birth certificate at the USCIS stage and the originals at the NVC stage. Do I need to carry my other set of originals to show?

Folder 1-

60 Pictures ranging from

- late 2011 when we met

- our wedding

- us at a friend's wedding

- my sister/nephew at our home

- my mom-in-law and sis-in-law at our home

- with mom-in-law and great aunt

- with my step son 1

- with hubby/I and stepson 2 /hubby in front of the same statue during our visit to visit stepson

- with my family and friends in Jamaica > with brothers, with parents

Folder 2- Proof

- One of his past pay slips (at the time of applying)

- His new contract (he has since changed jobs)

- Our lease agreement/ email sent from the apartment monthly to my email address on file re rent

- Furniture bought by us both (both credit cards) and addressed to me at our home address in the USA

- Travel documentation > ticket stubs/hotel receipts around the same date

- Receipt and insurance for ring, upgrade a year later, gift

- stamped envelopes/packages sent to our address addressed to me or us

- Sample of skype chat, initial conversation on OK Cupid

- Bank paper showing both our names and joint holders

USCIS:

Marriage (if applicable): 2012-08-10

I-130 NOA1 : 2013-05-10

I-130 RFE : 2013-12-17

I-130 RFE Sent : 2013-12-30 (they lost his picture)

I-130 Approved : 2014-01-13

NVC:

NVC Received : 2014-02-21

Received DS-261 / AOS Bill : 2014-03-10

Pay AOS Bill : 2014-03-10

Submit DS-261 : 2014-03-10

DS-261 form reject- under review: NVC keeps saying the form is incorrect. They made an error for two months re this form.

Checklist 1 AOS : They wanted 2013 even though we filed before the end of tax season

Receive IV Bill : 2014-05-23

Pay IV Bill : 2014-05-23

Send IV Package : 2014-05-26

Checklist 2 AOS : 2014-06-06 Issue with resubmitted I-864 form - did not auto populate one of the numbers

Requested Expedite : 2014-07-11

Case Completed at NVC : 2014-07-18

Consulate Received : 2014-07-25

Embassy:

Receive Instruction and Interview appointment letter : 2014-07-29

Medical : 2014-07-31

Interview : 2014-08-08 - APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so jellyy you have your interview tomorrow. I can imagine you running to your husband then he's gonna catch you and then twirl around and then kiss each other like it's happily ever after. Am I exaggerating. Good luck!! :D:)

NO ONE gets visa in hand after any kind of approval same day as interview. You will go into administrative processing in Jamaica.

NO ONE gets visa in hand after any kind of approval same day as interview. You will go into administrative processing in Jamaica.

How do you check to see if your in administrative processing? I've been trying to find out but I have had no luck.

I am happy for you ........I had my interview on the 14 .7 14.they ask me for a police record form the country i use to live in a few years before so they give me a 221g sheet and as me to send it to D.H.L. I DID ON THE 21 .7 2014 , On the 28 .7.2014 i got an update ,on the 30th we got another one and the 31 of july we got the last one.how long did urs took.what can i expect next plzzzzzzzzzz.

Approved! I should pickup up Thursday afternoon.

He asked me to tell about our married life...I did and then he asked for pics. He asked nothing else but said he would try to see if I could get it in hand so I could leave with hubby on Sunday next week.

In regards to police certificates...I has sent in two to the NVC , one from Jamaica and one from the UK where I lived for a while.

I think you need 6 passport pictures, but you checklist gives you instructions.

Thanks.....she needed two but was happy I did have 4. She says they will use the ones from your file plus two more but 4 is recommended

Ha..you know it. He was outside and so I went out with a long face...then I told him. A 16 month journey finally ending.
