Traveling with two passports

I keep both passports in the same passport holder....fully visible to any official who might be interested.

So far.....nobody's been interested!

It actually matters which passport you show if you're at the check-in desk, flying to the USA...airline staff are obliged to ask for documentation that allows a person into the USA.

Yes, both you and JohnR! are saying the same thing. Coming back to the US, both passports have to be presented (if leaving your native country that you had entered using your native passport).

I believe the US requires you to leave and enter the US with your US passport, in between you can do what you like.
