My EAD still hasn't been touched since 11/30/06, despite the fact that I have my interview letter for Feb 26. I'm wondering if it's 'cos of my RFE. But then, why do I have my interview letter already? Does the EAD get approved by the local office or MSC? suggestions, anyone?

Our EAD was just touched yesterday (it hadn't been touched since 11/21/06) and our NOA1 date was Nov 12, so hang in there it seems like they're finally getting around to us. EAD's are approved in MSC. If it's been 90 days and you haven't received your EAD or an approval, phone and ask for an interim EAD.

I hope you guys get your approvals soon. I am waiting to receive my card, and started looking for a job online. It doesn't seem like it will be too easy. It doesn't seem like they are paying as much as I made in Canada for the similar jobs I did. I am getting so worried about this whole job search thing....Before my EAD was approved I didn't even think about this other stuff...

I haven't really researched this to say for sure, but it does seem like most approvals and activity on our EAD's come on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. So let's hope for approvals this week!

MOST present requests for EAD's are taking the full 90 days. A few less, but in most cases expect to wait the full 90 days.
