I called NVC and asked, unfortunately the representive did not answer my question. She just told me that i dont have to worry as long as i received the confirmation. ?

If you want to know, then call up again. Some operators are less helpful than others.

Did you call NVC. I'm in the same boat. I had submitted by ds261 10 days ago, however this morning i reopened it. I called NVC and they told me my DS 261 is not in system yet so they do not know. Are they able to see your DS261 in their system? Please keep me updated on this issue. Thanks.

My husband called nvc and asked them to check the date of my ds-261 on file.. At first the representative told my husband that its not on their system. My husband insisted to please check again. They checked it and said that it is completed and they will update our case file, and expect to receive the IV invoice within a week. Try to call NVC again.
