I had a very long name after " first name " I mean in my country ou have your dad name and then the grandfather and then the next grandfather and then the family name

so I had a name formed of 5 parts other than myfirst !!!

But I always wanted to take my husband 's name I did that last week and I was very happy ..my middle name is my "maiden name " and my last name now is my husband's last name ..I think it's much better

I couldn't wait to change my name! My maiden name was a plain jane name, and my ex had a plain jane name. Plus, I couldn't wait to get my ex's name away from me I love my new name

I'm with you. When I finally filed for the divorce last summer, I figured my fiance and I would be marrying sooner or later, so I did not change my name to my maiden name. Sometimes I wish I had. I hate it. Constant reminder of the dirt bag. I'll be running, not walking to the nearest DMV after I have the paperwork and changing my name tout suite. We are going to use my maiden name and his last name.
