Question about meeting in past 2 years

Hey everyone I'm in the process of sending the petition to Dallas it's been rough gathering everything lol. We are wondering about the fact that I have only flown to lima one time and I will go for interview also. But we have seen done people say that's not enough and that they want you to visit more or risk getting denied more easily? We have a ton of proof pics and our talking everyday for over 1 year and 6 months we've been waiting a long while and finally have everything or so we thought any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Meeting one time is good, but just be sure to add as much supporting evidence as you can. Particularly passport stamps, flights booked and so on (things that are hard to fake)

We added receipts from our time together in Cambodia, as well as ticket stubs from things we did. I also added my bank account statements, showing purchases made during my time in Cambodia. (that's may've been overkill though ) We also copied our facebook records and facebook "friendship" (There's a link you can click to "see your friendship") At any rate, congratulations!!! All you need is proof of meeting in the two years previous to filing to get the petition approved. To get the visa approved at the interview can be a very different thing and depends on the embassy. You should look to the regional forum on other's experiences at the Lima embassy and what they expect to prove a valid relationship. A higher expectation of visits by the consular officers in Lima might be why you're hearing people say one visit isn't enough.

At least one meeting within the past two years before filing is suficient for you to send the application for your fiance.

Just be sure to include copies of the passport stamps from your visits together, You just need to prove that you met face to face once withing the two years prior to filing. That plus both of you being free and legally be able to marry. When I included pictures of my wife and daughter I wrote a short description and date of the event, nothing long just enough someone can follow and identified the event you were together. I guess I included more than what is needed, but it never hurts. If you show your chats or conversations is also good.

I wish you good luck on your application, if you feel you have collected all the stuff needed try to submit the application as soon as you can, being apart from a love one is the hardest part.... Once you submit I will encorauge you to come back and fill your timeline so that if you need further help people can help you better seing were you are in the process.

Copies of Passport stamps and boarding passes are good evidence that you did actually travel and were in the same place ... then photo(s), copies of receipts etc. All the best.
