Put in affidavits from your family members, not from you or your husband. Affidavits from anyone who knows about your relationship. Photos of your wedding. Possibly a brief narrative regarding how you met and decided to marry. Back up anything you say with proof if possible such as phone records, etc. Just use your common sense and tell the story. They are usually fairly open with regards to new marriages and will look closer at the 2 year interview.

We just sent in photos from before we got married, of the wedding, and afterwards (some were half naked lol). Copies of the visa stamps for my trips over there, some receipts of money I sent, boxes, hotel visits, and airline tickets. I didn't send anything else and our case was approved in 6 months with no RFE's.

We brought the originals and recent of the same stuff with us to the interview and our visa was approved with just that. With us they just focused more on the questions rather than the docs, the consul barely looked at them. It could depend on the embassy, but DR is a high fraud country and the docs we submitted were very little.

I don't think they expect you to have too many "bona fides" of the marriage since you just got married. That's what the ROC would be for if you have been married less than 2 years. Although my cousin was married for 3 years and they submitted the same exact stuff as us, they had no property, no joint anything, and her husband was given a 10yr green card. In their case they focused on the questions as well.

Send whatever you can get your hands on that proves the legitimacy of your relationship. Anything that involves your visits over there, photos, money he sent you or you sent him, care packages, gifts, letters/emails. The more stuff you can send the better.

This does not constitute legal advice.

The posters above have other ideas of what you might use for evidence. This thread includes many more ideas and discussions about evidence. On the wiki is a sample of the affidavits that can be written by family and friends with good knowledge of the two of you and your relationship.
