The thing is I have nothing whatsoever to tie me to my country. I was born in Mexico and was taken without inspection when I was two years old. I got married and by my own will I left before I was 18 and 180 days. So I've been waiting here in Mexico with my wife since May waiting for our green card process to finish. She's the USC btw. Our i130 was recently approved on July 24th our PD was Feb. 19. I have nothing but my word to tie me to Mexico should I try getting the B2 visa and once its my interview I go to Juarez. ? Any recommendations

I think you just answered your own question. If you don't have any ties to Mexico, and you have a pending immigrant visa, then your intent to immigrate into the US is apparent, and it would be very unlikely that they would grant you a tourist visa.

No downside trying.

$160 to try....but likely a big waste of money...what believable reasons could you offer as to why you would return instead of camping out, waiting for an AOS? Your 'word' is no more valuable than anyone else's (and that value is virtually zero, no matter who you are)...COs don't take promises...and that's about all you have to offer..

Now, I am not saying that your word is worth nothing (again, like any other tourist visa applicant's) just to be mean or something...but think about this: if you break your word, what recourse does the CO have? None. Thus, a promise without a totally enforceable penalty of some kind has no value whatsoever....it's like me promising you that the moon is made of green cheese....when NASA discovers it's not made of green cheese, I say..'oops, gosh, sorry'...and life goes on....the same in your situation...if you fail to return, there is nothing that the CO can do to force you to live up to your promise, so.....what is a promise worth? Yep....nothing.

And, you make it clear in your own explanation that your intent is to stay with her in the US (i.e., live there) until time for your interview in Juarez. Not a compelling case for a visitor's visa, especially given your previous history, even though it was your parents' decision for you to be in the US that long without authorization. I wouldn't risk it -- I would wait for the interview and avoid any questions about your intentions.

NO.NO.NO. You are lucky at this stage and wait few months longer and enter as an immigrant. You have no ties to your country whatsoever and you will not get a B-2 or any other kind of tourist visa. Your intention is obvious.
