It's not really a personal attack if it's true.

Not dictatorship. He will reveal he is the anti-Christ. That is what people said when he was first elected into office. That and that he would bring about the apocalypse.

Not to mention he was born in Kenya...

Hahahahahaha I Just choked on my apple.

I heard he was born in a hut in the underworld.

The three wise women and men came to see him. Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal and told him to rise up. One day he would be president. And then Mufasa raised him for all in the Kingdom of the Underworld to see.

I did answer it in detail. Reading is fundaMENTAL. What you mean to say is "why don't you agree with him" Seem my previously posted answer below.

Because both parties in Washington exploit non critical thinkers with absurd stunts. The repubs played to the tea party base by not funding a spending bill which accomplished nothing in reality and the Dem President exploited that stupidity by selectively shutting down high profile low cost venues which in turn made Ted Cruz and palin etc exploit more idiots by leading crash the barrier parties. The whole thing was theater by both parties

I did answer it very truthfully. It was all political drama by both parties.

No you didn't. Who made the choice to shut down the govt? Simple non-political question that anyone without partisan bias would be able to answer. Edited by GandD

Well you did not ask me who made the choice to shut down the Gov't

You asked me "Why were the monuments closed "? Two very very different questions, by any reasonable standard.

This is why it's hard to argue from the middle, with those of you on the fringe. You get what you asked for, but are so blinded by political allegiance to a party , you don't even know what you are asking ?

Take politics out. The government shutdown happened because the republican leaders in the house or representatives refused to negotiate over the budget. This is not partisan, this is not biased, this is simply what happened. The republicans in the house had options and this was what they chose and why the monuments were closed. Your fiscal bias will not allow you to see this because you're so caught up with the why. Doesn't matter why. Republicans chose the shutdown and therefore the monuments were closed. Who cares why in the example of veterans at the monument being denied access. Edited by GandD

Well if does not matter why, the why did you ask me to explain why? What kind of goat rope circle running BS is this ?

Not to mention you say take politics out of this, and then give a rambling political viewpoint. You got to be kidding me.

I said who, not why.

How is it political? That's what happened. I'm not discussing why. Only the outcome.

G and D. I expect this kind of nonsense from some posters, but with you, although we don't always agree, we don't usually do the change the subject, and do the I did not say this or that dance. I answred the question you asked very clearly. I will cut ad paste my answer for the third time. It isi impossible to answer the question without being political, My answer is actually a blend of the far left, totally the Republicans fault (yours) and the far right ( Obama refused to trim spending as promised and shut down the parks out of spite) position. My answer is in the middle and lays blame on both parties for playing political dram theater with our country. That's about as even as one can get . You don't think so, because you only see one side of this.

My answer-- for the 4th time

Don't worry, I still think you're a pretty cool dude.

What you're saying is true. However, its more like a chess game right? The move to shut the government down was a strategic decision made by house republicans. That's it. I don't care about why they chose that move or what lead to it or anything. The truth is, that's the move Ted and his buds made and as a result the monuments were closed. Saying anything else is a complete attempt to divert blame for political reasons. I don't care about who did what. LIB made a completely untrue and overly politically biased comment as he is known to do. And you agreed with him despite any level of truth behind what he said. Just because you sympathize with the "be more fiscally responsible" statement they were trying to make.

In hindsight, I think what OnMyWayID said was probably more accurate. One can be moderate on some issues and not on others. You certainly are moderate on some issues. Certainly not when it comes to Obama or presidential candidates though.

But there is some truth to saying that the parks were closed to exploit the issue on the other side. It was political and both sides played the game. To say the govt shut down, simply becuse Pubs would not negiote and that forced the Admin to barricade parks, and force a private business to shut down, that was on a public hwy, is not entirely accurate also.

If I recall there was a Bi-partisan agreement to cap spending automatically, and the Pubs wanted to stick to that. Now was that a political move. Yes. The administration also refused to negotiate and cut spending, so it's not as simple as the Pubs refused to even talk about it and that forced Barry to barricade access to a granite wall.

Yes i am hyper critical of Obama, because frankly he is inept. I have also been very vocally critical of Bush. So where does that leave me on the spectrum?
