I got married to my wife in feburary 2013,started the process january received an RFE 31st of may replied 14th of july,no approval yet can we through with the process this year?by God's grace Thanks

Nope sorry to tell you. Whenever you get approved at USCIS you have to get through NVC which is now processing at a snails pace. Realistically even if you had NOA2 today you wouldn't be done and with interview by year end.

Just focus on what things you can do now. Are you and your wife prepared now for NVC? Is your AOS package complete and ready? Whoever is the petitioner should have all the beneficiaries documents (not the police certificates ) ready. Do you have all that?

Have you read the whole NVC process wiki so you know what you need to do? Right now they are processing at 60 days per documents. So you are looking at goodness 4 to 5 months there for real. Sorry But real talk.

It is all about luck! On my experience, it seems to that there is no real way to tell any time frame. If you look through people's timelines on this site, you will notice how crazy it works. There are people that send their I-130 and get them approve in a matter of weeks, while others, take several months, and sometimes a year. Like you, I know how hard it is when you get an RFE, and what is even worst, the fact that you call uscis and they can't ever tell you anything about it. Just be patient because otherwise, you are going to lose your mind (trust me, I am already on Xanax because of the stress). My case is at NVC stage and I would have been completely lost if it wasn't for this site. Stay active on this site and try to remain calm ?.

Yes, it is a red flag, so you need to provide good evidence of a genuine relationship and preferably lots of time together after marriage.

@all wow so the NVC stage take another 5months ,this is really sad but can we expect like march next year my wife is very worried, again pls dwheels78 we married at first time visit.is it an issue?

And yes NVC is saying 60 days for each package so that's 60 for AOS, 60 for IV 60 for DS-261 and 60 for DS-260 but lets hope it isn't all that.

The married first time can be an issue. Depends how long she stayed on visit. Have there been more visits?

I would suggest strongly another visit before Interview time and her there for interview. The marrying first time you meet and a 1 week visit doesn't usually fly no more.

We also got married on our first meeting but we didn't get any RFEs in USCIS or checklists in NVC. I think we started in NVC mid March and finished end of May. My interview was scheduled for the 2nd week of May. Things were starting to slow down in NVC by the time we started so it might be even slower now.

Also, when I left the US in Nov after staying there for 4 months, my husband and I haven't seen each other since but we do have a daughter together.
