Name on the visa stamp does not match the name on the passport

Hello everyone,

Well my wife removed her passport from her visa packet today and noticed that they misspelled her name on the visa stamp.

On the stamp it has her middle name ending in an "I" when it should end in an "E".

On all the paperwork, on the bottom half of the visa stamp and her passport it has it correct.

Is this something we should worry about or is it ok for her to us for POE?

Thank you

I wanted to give an update.

My wife talked with the embassy.

They said as long as the name printed across the bottom of the visa stamp is correct then it is good to use.

They also said that the name in both places on the visa stamp comes from the same field when they enter it into the computer. It is likely caused by the letter getting cut off by the graphics on the stamp.

Nothing to worry about.

Thats good. Good luck and Godbless.! Anyway, did she get her CFO sticker done?

Thank you!!

She will go get her CFO sticker done the day before she flies to the U.S..

She has already taken the counseling. She just needs to show her certificate.

They need also the photocopy of her data sheet at the back of her package visa and of course photocopy of her visa passport. Thats all the CFO needs.
