Hi,

So I already submitted my Mom's AOS packet with the NVC cover sheet (with barcode etc.) last month and just last week, NVC sent emails for my Dad's AOS and DS-261... DS-261 I completed right away but for AOS, I had to call NVC hotline to link the AOS fee I paid for my Mom's so that I don't have to shell out another $88 and support operator took care of it... Today, I checked the status of my Dad's and now it says PAID and I was about to print his NVC cover sheet, the 'RECEIPTS' on the top menu and 'Payment Receipts' located at the bottom of the page are disabled and unclickable... So now my question is, can I use and re-print my Mom's cover sheet for my Dad's and just white-out her name and case number and replace it with my Dad's?

Thanks in advance!

Took your advice apple (thanks!) and the operator I spoke to suggested that I can wait few more days and I should be able to print the barcoded sheet OR I can just create my own cover sheet, closely identical to what they provide (minus barcode) and mail my AOS packet... She said that the barcoded cover sheet they provide is not a 'requirement' and will not delay the processing or whatsoever...

So, probably I'll just give it a few more days wait for the barcoded cover sheet becomes available for my Dad's though I'm just curious if there are other folks around here made the move of submitting their AOS packet without NVC's barcoded cover sheet... Anyone?

Really? NVC agents are sometimes inconsistent with what they're saying because in their instructions it says http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/submit/how-to-submit-documents-to-the-nvc.html:

"Mail your forms and documents with your Document Cover Sheet to the following address:

National Visa Center
Attn: DR
31 Rochester Ave. Suite 100
Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914"

Yep, that's what the agent told me and that's why I asked for her name in case everything goes south just because of the cover sheet :)... Good news is that I'm not gonna go through that trouble anymore as I just received an email from NVC about my Dad's AOS cover sheet, yay! So thanks again for the tip to call them up to email the NVC cover sheet, it didn't take that long :)
