Consult with your lawyer and ask that if just writing an email or any communication to islamabad and telling them that you are about to file the writ and you are just giving them an advance notice before you do. So that they might make a decision now and let u know. Becuz according to wat i have read about writ is that embassies themselves will try to avoid get any kinda of lawsuit if they can, its also more burden and paperwork for them.

so in short, after consulting ur lawyer, communicate with ISL and let them know you are about to take this action if there is no answer from them

Thanks for your advice but i do not think it is smart idea to tell anyone before filling a law suit :) It could be consider at threat.. But thank you for your suggestion..

you are right in that sense but i read one case in which after only telling them that they might be considerind to file the writ, they speed-ed up the process and got a quick answer.

the office doesn't want this also and usually wanna do things easily without burdens like such and so they might will give you an answer

You can nicely tell them and not make it feel like a threat, consult ur lawyer regarding it.

The process does say one should inform them

on the intention of filing the Mandamus, It costs

money & the Federal judges can deny it going thru

if its thought to be frivolous, but atty will have been paid.

For AP I would think its not the best thing to do, It

should not be denied base on the filing, however

we are dealing with humans here , if they deny due

to incomplete....well its denied, on rare occasions one may

go thru with an approval. would U take that chance?

May I suggest you start a new topic.  This thread is almost 3 years old.  Some of the participants in this thread haven't been online in years.
