Hi guys. So NVC finally sent my file to the Consulate in India yesterday! I was wondering if any of you have an idea of how much longer you think it would take to the interview?

Also - it turns out my fiance's birth certificate doesn't have the correct birth date on it?! I Know this happens a lot with people from India for some reason... don't know why though?? I believe this will be an issue since the birth certificate doesn't match his driver's license/passport/etc... Is there any way to show the Consulate that the birth certificate is incorrect?? can he show any proof regarding his real birth date? I was asking him to get a revised birth cert; however, it takes months for this process. any ideas?

any help from you is greatly appreciated as i am stuck in a bind here. Thanks so much and good luck to you all!
