Waiting for 765 - Adjustment status from k1

Hi everyone here ! I need your advices !!!!

My husband & I have sent the package of status adjustment since mid of May 2014. We received an email of acceptance on May 22, 2014. Later we got a letter for Biometric fingers print appointment. I got it done on June 20,2014.

From the email I got from USCIS of the acceptance, I can only check status online and found only "acceptance" step for my I485 ( AOS), nothing show about my EAD. Followed by the timeline in visa journey , it said I should be receiving my EAD around July 31-Aug 3, 2014. However, until now I have not heard anything yet.

Like I mentioned above, I keep checking the status online with the e-receipt number, it only show the process of AOS, which at "Acceptance" since May 22,2014 and nothing change.

Help please....!!!!

I don't know where I can find the receipt number for I-765. So far I only got receipt number of i797 ( MSCxxxxxxxx), which for i485 (AOS) only.

Have you received the NOA for i-765?

Actually, just to make sure...you did file I-485 concurrently with I-765, correct? In most cases (correct me if I am wrong, please), NOAs for I-485, I-765, I-131 (and/or I-130) arrive around the same time.

Yes, I did fill everything in one package. I received NOA of I 797 which stated of the acceptance of I-485 application and I-765, but they did give me number of each one. And when use that number to check the status, it only show the status of I-485. ?

If you filed I-130, I-131, I-485 & I-765 all at once - you should have received 4 NOA's (I-797C) letters (one for each form filed). If you have not - I would go ahead and call USCIS and check what's going on.

My wife filed in May they received it May28th.. had appointment for finger prints on June 18th, the I-485 has

said accepted since May 28th. Her EAD and Travel Permit said Initial review until today where it jumped

to card production.. So be patient you can't be far away..

I just found the NOA sheets of i765 and i485 with their reference numbers in our document bag. My husband never mentioned that there are 2 different number. So far I only used the number of i485 from the email that he got from USCIS.

Awwww....!!!! Good news my i765 has been approved yesterday. However, no news for my i485 yet, not even appointment date.

You can call USCIS, but just know that dates listed on VisaJourney are just an estimate. I can take more or less time than the dates projected on VJ. I'd say you're probably very close to getting approved for the EAD/AP, but if it eases your mind, you can call USCIS.

Awesome! There you go! AOS can take longer, but at least you can accept job offers once your card gets to you! Congrats!

It will be in "Acceptance" until it's sent to interview scheduling. It probably hasn't been sent to your local office yet.
