Hello fellow Vj members.

I was reviewing the forms, and then I stumbled across a doubt with the I-864

Page 5, part 6, item 13 (right bottom corner of the page): ( ) "I have filed a Federal tax return for each of the three most recent tax years. I have attached the required photocopy or transcript of my Federal tax return for only the most recent tax year.

Then item 14 says : ( ) (optional) I have attached photocopies or transcripts of my Federal tax returns for my second and third most recent tax years.

I am sending the transcripts for the last 3 years, so my doubt is: Should I mark with X both of those items? Or only the second one?

I ask that because that highlighted area of the first item says clearly "only the most recent tax year". But, if you take a look at the second item, it doesn't mention the "most recent tax year", so I don't know which one I mark.

I don't know if I made myself clear. Those items look very unclear.

Thanks

It's pretty clear in writing what to do! :)

Page 5, part 6, item 13 (right bottom corner of the page): ( ) "I have filed a Federal tax return for each of the three most recent tax years. I have attached the required photocopy or transcript of my Federal tax return for only the most recent tax year. - Tick this box because you have filed, and are including the most recent tax year.

Then item 14 says : ( ) (optional) I have attached photocopies or transcripts of my Federal tax returns for my second and third most recent tax years. Tick this box also, because you are including (optionally) your second and third most recent tax transcripts.
