Hello,

I would like to find out any informations regarding my case hopefully still available.

We were petition by our father (LPR) back in the Philippines with Priority Date year 1999, F2B category (unmarried sons & daughters), then our parents naturalized, but opt out (remain as F2B). After 10 long years of waiting, me and my live-in partner (not married) decided to apply and try going to Australia, fortunately we both passed, stayed and work there for almost 2 years up to now, when sudden big moved for priority dates in Visa's and our case becomes current, 3 of my siblings went to the US by 2011.

Me, I received a notification from NVC asking if I still want to migrate to the US via petition, I think I checked the response box that I'm no longer interested coz me and my live-in partner already have a new life in Australia, both with a stable job, working in the same company and I just naturalized as Australian citizen couples of month ago. But sudden bad events happen, my live-in partner is gone now (+), we don't both have any relatives here, trying to move on all by myself.

I've been trying to inquire to the NVC via e-mail as of now, I don't received any response, that's why I posting here looking form some infos. I just checked my case and its still at the NVC.

My question are:

Can my case be still reopen?

Will my priority dates be retained?

or

I will be starting all over again with new Priority Dates?

Thanking anyone in advance for anything information or experience that you can share about my case, I really appreciate it.

Have a nice day!

I'm not sure what their process is, but I assume that checking that box on the form is as good as withdrawing the petition. You should speak with someone on the phone because emails would take too long.

This does not constitute legal advice.

Hello,

Thank you for the response. I'm now here in the US, visiting my parents for a few weeks. I've been calling this (603) 334-0700 couples of days now, but can't get through, always busy tone, is this number still active?

Thanks again.
